Hearing and Doing the Word-:)
Today food for your spirit is taken from James 1:19-22 (ESV); Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. The Word of God, for the People of God; Glory be to God.

Raising Children
Today's Food For Your Spirit is taken from Proverbs 22:6; "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he won't turn it."
But the big question is "what is the right way?" Is it the American Dream plus a little bit of religiosity? No, it is much more than that. It's raising our children to become disciples of Jesus Christ. The Word of God for the People of God. Glory Be To God.

Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God.
Today's Food For Your Spirit is taken from Psalm 51:7-12 (ESV), “Purge me with hyssop (herbal extracts), and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.” The Word of God, for the People of God.

Joy Comes with the Morning
Today's Food For Your Spirit is taken from Psalm 30:1-5 (ESV); “I will extol you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol {grave or pit}; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit. Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. The word of God, for the People of God.

The God of peace
Today's Food For Your Spirit is taken from Romans 16:17-18 (ESV): "I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. The Word of God, for the People of God."
